CDL AROUND AUSTRALIA

A Newspoll survey commissioned by Clean Up Australia in 2007, showed that four out of five Australians believe a 10-cent refund for drink containers is a good idea.
The survey results also showed that 88 per cent of Australians want the beverage industry to help set up a national refund scheme for bottles and cans, like the scheme that already operates in South Australia.

Victoria: A Newspoll survey in 2006, commissioned by AFROCAB, found that 94% of Victorians are in favour of the State Government introducing a container deposit and refund scheme in Victoria.
Letters from the public to the Minister for Environment and Climate Change continue to be referred to EPA Victoria. Their answers say that Victoria has not implemented a CDL system because of our successful kerbside system!

WA: A Newspoll survey in 2006, commissioned by the Boomerang Alliance, found that 93% of WA residents supported their government's decision to introduce container deposits.
